How Veneers Work

Veneers are super-thin shells of tooth-colored material that we bond to the outside of your teeth to change how they look. Dental veneers can be used to lengthen teeth, cover severe discoloration, fix chips and cracks, mask natural wear, and close small gaps. To put it simply, you can use veneers to fix aesthetic imperfections and custom design your dream smile.

Getting veneers takes place over two stages. First, we’ll prepare your teeth by removing a minimal amount of tooth enamel. We do this so that your veneers can fit and look natural, rather than seem like bulky additions on top of your teeth. Next, we’ll get your custom-made veneers from the lab and bond them to your teeth. Your veneers are designed to last many years, and you can brush and floss them just like you normally would with your other teeth.

How Much Do Dental Veneers Cost?

There’s not a single answer for how much dental veneers cost because each case is unique. It really depends on how many of your teeth are being treated and what material is being used (as in porcelain veneers vs. composite resin veneers). After you come in for a consultation and we go over what you’d like to change about your smile, we’ll be able to come up with a personalized treatment plan and cost estimate. You don’t have to worry about any surprises when it comes to the price. You’ll have an estimate before we ever begin treatment!

Even if you don’t have dental insurance or your insurance plan doesn’t cover the cost of veneers, we have other options to make the treatment more affordable for you. You can join our Dental Savings Plan to get a get a discount on the procedure or you can apply for CareCredit® financing.
